Financing Your Education

Education is one of the most important, and possibly the first, big investment of your life. Spend some time researching scholarships as they can be a big factor in financing your years at college. If you enrolled in classes at Doane College prior to Fall 2014, then please use the following document to determine your academic scholarship requirements. Travel Scholarship $1,000

Available to all juniors and seniors.

You will select your trip from a listing of approved trips during the May interterm. 

Available for up to $1,000.

The Travel Scholarship can be applied to one or two eligible trips.

The Travel Scholarship is optional, but highly encouraged.

Van Hoy Scholarship $11,000/yr for students starting during the 2015-16 academic year. Admitted students are automatically eligible with a minimum 22 ACT/ 1020 SAT and 3.2 GPA.

Students who meet the nomination criteria should apply to Doane College.

Renewable for up to eight semesters if the student retains good academic standing.

Visit Grant Up to $1,000 renewable for four years while at Doane.

Awarded to admitted applicants who complete an official on-campus visit during their senior year.
