Education is one of the most important, and possibly the first, big investment of your life. Spend some time researching scholarships as they can be a big factor in financing your years at college.

| Senator Hugh Butler Academic Leadership Scholarship | Full Tuition. This scholarship replaces all other available institutional aid. |
Admitted students are automatically eligible with a minimum 30 ACT/1320 SAT and 3.6 GPA. To be considered, students should: |
Students should complete the scholarship application and send a personal résumé no later than January 31, 2013. |
Renewable for up to eight semesters if the student maintains a 3.5 GPA and full-time enrollment status. |

Potential applicants must be pursuing a post-secondary degree at an accredited college or university and have a connection to the military by being one of the following: |
Applicants must also submit an essay no longer than 750 words based on one of three prompts made available in the spring and fall by Veterans United Scholarship Program. |
Five bi-annual $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to help pay for tuition and books. |
| Federal Direct Subsidized & Unsubsidized Stafford Loans | Determined by FAFSA and grade level. |
Subsidized Stafford loans are available to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need and are enrolled at least half-time. |
