Education is one of the most important, and possibly the first, big investment of your life. Spend some time researching scholarships as they can be a big factor in financing your years at college.

You must renew each year with the lender of your choice.

Presidential Scholarship Up to $48,000 ($12,000/yr for four years)

Admitted students are automatically eligible with a minimum 30 ACT/1320 SAT and 3.6 GPA.

Students who meet the nomination criteria should apply to Doane College.

Renewable for up to eight semesters if the student maintains a 3.4 GPA and full-time enrollment status.

Out-of-State Visit Grant Up to $2,000

Awarded to admitted applicants outside the state of Nebraska who complete an official on-campus visit before March 1st of their senior year.

Eligible students that visit before March 1, 2013, will receive the full $2,000 grant and those that visit after March 1st will receive $1,000.

This grant is renewable for up to eight semesters.

Oregon Trail Community Foundation

Applicants must be a Junior or Senior who is a previous graduate of Scottsbluff Senior High School and is pursuing studies in education or teaching. 

Nebraska State Reading Association Scholarship $1,000

Nebraska Opportunity Grant (NOG) Maximum Award $3,000

Nebraska resident who demonstrates high need. Limited availability.

Eligible recipient names are submitted to the State of Nebraska's Coordinating Commission of Post-Secondary Education pending approval.

2 full-time semesters or 4 full-time terms per academic year

Nebraska Educational Office Professionals Association (NEOPA) Varies

Eligible students must have graduated from a Nebraska high school and completed at least 4 semesters of business courses.

The candidate must complete an application and one-page biographical essay on "Why I Am Choosing an Office-Related Career or Vocation".
