Financing Your Education

Education is one of the most important, and possibly the first, big investment of your life. Spend some time researching scholarships as they can be a big factor in financing your years at college. If you enrolled in classes at Doane College prior to Fall 2014, then please use the following document to determine your academic scholarship requirements. Karman Healthcare Scholarship

Students participating must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college, or university in the U.S.

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program

To be eligible for this award, applicants must:

Qualified candidates may apply online starting October 13, 2014 through January 8, 2015 or until 25,000 applications are submitted, whichever comes first.

Renewable for up to an additional three years for a total of $40,000.

Udall Undergraduate Scholarship

The Udall Foundation awards scholarships to college sophomores and juniors for leadership, public service, and commitment to issues related to American Indian nations or to the environment.

Doane College Legacy Grant $1,000

Awarded to admitted applicants who have a current sibling attending the Crete campus or who have had a sibling, parent, grandparent or great-grandparent graduate from Doane College.

Eligible students receive this award.

This grant is renewable for up to eight semesters.

U.S. Bank Internet Scholarship Program $1,000

Travel Scholarship $1,000

Available to all juniors and seniors.

You will select your trip from a listing of approved trips during the May interterm. 

Available for up to $1,000.

The Travel Scholarship can be applied to one or two eligible trips.

The Travel Scholarship is optional, but highly encouraged.

Rocky Mountain Alumni Scholarship $1,500

Must be a student from the Rocky Mountain area in Colorado.

Specific requirements can be found on the Rocky Mountain Alumni Chapter site.

This is a one-time $1,500 award scholarship.

Perry Scholarship $11,000/yr

For transfer students. 24+ hours of college credit & 3.5+ cumulative college GPA

Nebraska Business Hall of Fame Scholarship $2,000

This $2000 scholarship will be awarded to a full-time sophomore or junior college student (to be used for their junior or senior year of study) enrolled in a Nebraska accredited Business school.
