Education is one of the most important, and possibly the first, big investment of your life. Spend some time researching scholarships as they can be a big factor in financing your years at college.

| Ed Pallett Impact Scholarships | Varies. Included in the total financial aid package as required by federal regulations and college policies. |
Ed Pallett Impact Scholarships are given to students who will make an immediate impact to a program as determined by the coach for an athletic program or a director of a fine arts program. |

This scholarship will be renewed according to the requirements set forth by the director or head coach in the area of the scholarship. |

To be eligible for any Doane Athletic Award, first-time students must meet two of the following three requirements based on final high-school transcripts: |

| Specialized Academic Award | Varies. Funds are limited and awarded at the discretion of the area director. Students are expected to participate in the program for which the award is given. |
To be eligible for the full award, a student must meet the nomination criteria. |
Admitted students may be required to provide additional information or participate in an interview. |
This award is renewed each year at the discretion of the program director. |
| Fine and Performing Arts | Varies. Funds are limited and awarded at the discretion of the activity director. |
Admitted applicants with special abilities in fine and performing arts are eligible; must meet nomination criteria |
Admitted students may be required to participate in an audition / evaluation. |
This award is renewed each year at the discretion of the director. Students are expected to participate in the program for which the award is given. |
| Vocational Rehabilitation | Varies. Dependent on funding. |
Available to students with a significant employment disability. This award is need based and dependent on funding. |
Applications are available from regional Vocational Rehabilitation offices. |

| Federal Direct PLUS (Parent) Loan | Varies (Up to Cost of Attendance) |
Parents who do not have adverse credit history may borrow for their dependent student. Applications are approved by the Federal Direct Loan Origination Center based on a credit check. |

Begins after the loan is fully disbursed. Deferment options are available. Please contact the Financial Aid Office for further information. |
