Education is one of the most important, and possibly the first, big investment of your life. Spend some time researching scholarships as they can be a big factor in financing your years at college.

Lower Republican Natural Resources District Scholarship

Applicants must have permanent residence in the Lower Republican NRD. This includes the towns of Cambridge, Alma, Franklin, Red Cloud, and Superior.

Applicants essay, grades, class ranking, extracurricular activities, and letters of recommendation will be considered. Stop by the Financial Aid office to pick up an application.

Buick Achievers Scholarship
  • High school seniors and current undergraduate students

Thermo Scientific Pierce Scholarship $5,000 / $10,000

To qualify for the scholarship, students must have a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and be enrolled in an accredited college for university for the Winter/Spring 2013 semester.

Students may apply for the scholarship through the Thermo Scientific Pierce Scholarship Website.

The Thermo Scientific Pierce Scholarship Program for the Winter/Spring 2013 semester includes two (2) $10,000 scholarships and four (4) $5,000

Air Force ROTC Scholarship Program Varies

Provides qualified students up to full tuition, book allowance and a monthly stipend.

The "BVCA Partnership Scholarship" will be awarded to individuals planning to attend or currently attending a 4-year college.

Veterans United Scholarship Five bi-annual $2,000 scholarship(s)

Potential applicants must be pursuing a post-secondary degree at an accredited college or university and have a connection to the military by being one of the following:

Applicants must also submit an essay no longer than 750 words based on one of three prompts made available in the spring and fall by Veterans United Scholarship Program.

Five bi-annual $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to help pay for tuition and books.

Nebraska Educational Office Professionals Association (NEOPA) Varies

Eligible students must have graduated from a Nebraska high school and completed at least 4 semesters of business courses.

The candidate must complete an application and one-page biographical essay on "Why I Am Choosing an Office-Related Career or Vocation".
