What Works? Shareshop: Interactive-Didactic Strategies
Thursday, September 23, 2010
11:00-12:00, East Dining Room
Members of the Doane faculty will share and discuss interactive-didactic strategies they have effectively used in the classroom. Interactive-didactic strategies allow you to merge short, intentional activities for student engagement with direct instruction or lecture. These moments allow students to actively process information as part of the instructional moment. This generally leads to deeper connections and a more thorough understanding and it also readies them for additional learning.
CETL's mission is to serve as a catalyst for service-learning, aesthetic, and liberal education at Doane.
