Ethics and the Paralegal Profession

Through this course, students develop knowledgeyand understanding of the ethical and legalyresponsibilities that have been established byystatutes, decisions, and court rules affectingyparalegals/legal assistants and lawyers, includingyconflict of interest, confidentiality, competence,ysolicitation, fees and billing, obligations ofyattorneys to clients, and protection of clientyfunds. Prerequisite: Senior standing.
