An introduction to the theory and practice of copy editing and design for print media. The student who successfully completes this course will demonstrate competency in editing the written word, writing headlines and cutlines, and practicing sound news judgment. The student will also be able to apply industry-standard software in designing pages and displaying photographs and other art. Prerequsite: Mass Communication/English 113.
