Delta Kappa Pi Fraternity
Delta Kappa Pi (DKP) was formed as a debating society, and was the first of its kind at Doane. DKP is the only secret society on campus. No one outside of the fraternity knows the full extent of its rich history. DKP takes academics very seriously. In fact, DKP has won the inter-fraternity scholastic award every semester for at least the past 25 years.
Delta Kappa Pi’s mission is to provide an environment that stresses strong academic achievement, personal growth, reliability, commitment, and leadership. As a result, DKP members can be seen all across campus involved in athletics, music, theater, and other clubs supported by Doane.
Delta Kappa Pi service projects include highway cleanup, Merganser Lake cleanup, United Church of Christ cleanup, and snow removal/raking leaves in Crete. DKP also raises funds for the American Cancer Society through Relay for Life at Doane College.
