Delta Kappa Pi Fraternity
Delta Kappa Pi (DKP) was formed as a debating society, and was the first of its kind at Doane. DKP is the only secret society on campus. No one outside of the fraternity knows the full extent of its rich history. DKP takes academics very seriously. In fact, DKP has won the inter-fraternity scholastic award every semester for at least the past 25 years.
Delta Kappa Pi strives to provide an environment that stresses strong academic achievement, leadership, community service and campus involvement. As a result, DKP members can be seen all across campus involved in athletics, music, theater, and other organizations at Doane.
Delta Kappa Pi completed approximately 200 community service hours, many of which supported the local community of Crete. Service projects included highway clean-up, Girls on the Run 5K, Matt Talbot Kitchen, the Great Pumpkin Festival, United Church of Christ clean-up, and snow removal/raking leaves in Crete. Delta Kappa Pi was also one of the top fundraising teams for the 2016 Relay For Life event at Doane.
