Custer County Foundation Scholarships
Custer County Home Extension Scholarships, $300 This scholarship is available to Custer County high school graduates enrolled in their 3rd year (or above) students at a Nebraska post-secondary school. Students must demonstrate financial need. This is available for any degree and there are no GPA requirements.
Margaret "Peggy" Hirsch Scholarship, $300 This scholarship is available to graduates of Broken Bow High School. The student must be pursuing a degree in Educations and currently entering their sophomore, junior or senior year of college. This scholarship will be paid out in the spring semester.
Jeanne M. Mohatt Memorial Scholarship, $1,000 This scholarship is available for graduates of Broken Bow high school. Must be currently enrolled at an accredited Nebraska university or college as a junior or higher. Priority will be given to majors in the following order: Journalism, English, Political Science, Education.
Lorraine E. Still Scholarship, $300 This scholarship is available for a graduate of a Custer County High School who is now a freshman, sophomore or junior enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year degree program in Consumer & Family Sciences, Art Education or Nursing.
Clyde W. and Ethelyn E. Wilcox Memorial Fund, $500 This scholarship is available for a graduate of a Custer County high school enrolled in their 3rd year or above in the study of medicine, nursing, journalism, theater or architecture.
Students must be former graduates of Custer County high schools.
These scholarships are not renewable.
