Students willylearn the cultural, ethnic, sociological,yeconomic, and political factors that influenceybeliefs, values, and practices in relation toyhealth, illness, wellness management, and healthyseeking behaviors. Upon completion of the course,ystudents will have a heightened awareness of theyrange of cultural behaviors and the need toyunderstand people's actions from their ownycultural perspective in health and illness.
