This course is an examination of current andyemerging issues in the field of criminal justice.yTopics include, but are not limited to:yRestorative Justice; Domestic Violence; OrganizedyCrime; White-Collar Crime; Issues of Race andyEthnicity; Terrorism. Students will continue theydevelopment of critical thinking skills inyapplication to issues that require the balancingyof victim, offender, citizen, and community needsyand rights. Prerequisites: BUS 215 (or SSI 217)yand IDS 206.
