About the College
Doane’s College of Education takes you from undergraduate all the way to your doctorate.
Our college is structured leading to a variety of undergraduate and graduate teacher education degree programs.
Students pursuing their bachelor’s degree in education study on our Crete campus, which is home to our College of Arts and Sciences and College of Education.
Education professionals can choose between our two masters’ programs—the Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction or the Master of Education in Educational Leadership—or Doctorate of Education. Courses are taught at our adult learner campuses in Grand Island, Lincoln and Omaha along with select sites across Nebraska.
Both masters’ programs are available online.
Students looking for certifications or endorsements outside of the bachelor’s, masters’ or doctorate degree paths are also welcome in our College of Education.
Our Education Specialist degree offers educators with a route to leadership positions at the district level.
The Initial Certification at the Advanced Level offers an express path toward endorsement in several areas for those looking to teach in a secondary setting (grades 7-12).
