Ceramics Handbuilding

In this beginning ceramics course, the studentywill be introduced to the nature and potential ofyclay as an art material. Various techniques usedyin forming ceramic objects will be explored.yStudents will develop an understanding of theyvarious stages of the ceramic process. Studentsywill be encouraged to explore ceramic art history,ydevelop their own ideas and utilize the technicalyinformation taught in class to bring their ideasyinto a three-dimensional reality.
