A one semester laboratory or field researchyproject required of all biology majors seekingyteacher certification in biology. Students willycomplete the research project they proposed inyBiology Research I (BIO-351 or CHM-351). Toysuccessfully complete this course students willyconduct their scientific study by carrying outylaboratory or field experiments, takingyappropriate notes, analyzing their data, andypresenting their findings in a written thesis andyoral or poster presentation. Prerequisite: BIO-351y(or CHM-351) and admission into teacher educationyprogram.
