Biology Research I

Biology Research I is the biology student'syintroduction to formal research. Each studentywill select a topic, investigate it thoroughly inythe primary scientific literature, identify ayfaculty research mentor, design experiments, andyprepare a written proposal and oral presentationyin a formal setting. Upon successful completionyof this course, the student will have a proposalyfor their research project to be completed duringythe senior year in Biology Research II and IIIy(BIO 495 and 496).
