Doane and Morningside went the distance in volleyball action on Saturday evening as the Mustangs picked up the 3-2 win in Crete. Game scores were 25-17, 21-25, 25-18, 19-25, 15-10 in favor of the victor. Doane (18-6, 5-3 GPAC) was led by Jessy Livers' 15 kills. She added three ace serves and three blocks. Terra Andreasen finished with 12 kills for Doane. Chelsee Marvin posted 10 kills and six total blocks.
Ashley Sluka led the Tigers with 24 set assists and added three ace serves. Heather Davison posted 15 set assists for Doane.
Defensively, Emily Schwisow finished with 20 digs as she was the only Tiger in double figures for digs. Doane finished with six team blocks.
No. 15 Morningside (23-3, 9-1 GPAC) was led by Addi Radke's 23 kills.
