Despite some rough patches of play, the Tiger women's soccer team came away with a 4-0 victory over Tabor College on Wednesday evening. The win moved the overall record for Doane to 4-2. For the game, Doane out-shot the Bluejays 38-5. Tabor goalkeeper Aubrey Whitehorn posted 11 saves while the Tigers' Alicia Exstrom finished with two saves. Exstrom collected her fourth shutout of the year and is second all-time in career shutouts at Doane.
The Tiger scoring in the first half came off the foot of Samantha Exstrom. She posted two goals to bring her season total to six. Clare Koeppe and Sarah Medina collected assists on Exstrom's goals.
In the second half, Jayne Wagner scored for the Tigers off a pass from Kelly Spencer. Koeppe rounded out the scoring for Doane with a goal in the 78th minute.

The Tigers will be at Fremont to take on Midland Lutheran College on September 17 at 4:00 PM. The game will be the GPAC opener for Doane.
