Doane finished the Red Raider Volleyball Classic with a three-game sweep of Waldorf College on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers improved to 7-1 with the victory. Game scores were 25-14, 25-19, 25-21. The Tiger defense was solid once again, collecting 78 digs and limiting Waldorf to a .179 attack percentage. Amy Janky (Sr.; Chapman, Neb.) led the way with 24 digs after collecting 30 earlier in the day against Valley City State. Jessy Livers (Jr.; Lincoln, Neb.) finished with 15 digs while Ashley Sluka (Sr.; Milligan, Neb.) notched 11 digs and Megan Meduna (Fr.; Weston, Neb) finished with 10.
Offensively, the Tigers displayed balance across the front line. Chelsee Marvin (Sr.; Crete, Neb.) finished with a team-high 12 kills. Terra Andreasen (Fr.; Bellevue, Neb.) and Kellie Peterson (Fr.; Ord, Neb.) finished with nine kills apiece. Livers and Ivie Speer (Jr.; Central City, Neb.) added seven kills each. Speer led the team with three total blocks.
Sluka led the way with 25 set assists. Heather Davison (So.; Lincoln, Neb.) added 16 assists in the match.
