The Doane College Art Department awards art scholarships based on the quality of your work, your merit, and academic promise. A personal conference with the department is desirable. (A conference is not essential if enough work, 6-8 samples, are submitted to form a basis for judgment. Slides of work or digital files are acceptable.) Students receiving scholarships in art are required to take at least two art courses per academic year, of which one must be a studio course. You will also be required to maintain a B average in these courses and to submit studio art work to the Annual All-Student Art Exhibition. Please contact the Office of Admission to schedule a conference time at 402.826.6767 or toll-free 800.333.6263.
