ALUMNI HAPPENINGS
As Alumni Council members for the past five years, we've had the privilege of working with a great group of committed, active alumni. Becoming more involved in Doane activities has increased our awareness of what an outstanding college Doane still is today.
The Alumni Council serves as a catalyst to connect alumni to their college and encourage them to become active alumni. An active alumnus can take many forms, but it starts by reconnecting with Doane:
■ Discover what's new at Doane: visit the Web site: www.doane.edu. While you're browsing the site, be sure to update your information so friends and classmates can get in touch with you.
■ Maximize your opportunity: reconnect to the college and your Doane friends by attending Homecoming, Commencement and class reunions. Or just stop by the Crete or Lincoln campuses when you're in the area. You'll be reminded of all the reasons you chose to attend Doane-friendly students, dedicated faculty, an amazing campus. These are constants, whether you graduated in 1939 or 2009.
■ Attend regional alumni events: this coming year they'll be held in Los Angeles, New York and lots of places in between. Rediscover Doane. Reconnect with your college friends. Remind yourself of all that Doane College means to you.
