Sunday, October 4        
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The Great Pumpkin Festival (Crete) The Crete Chamber of Commerce is hosting a day of food, beverages and fun dowtown!  Activities include carnival games, the "Great Pumpkin Smash," hayrack rides, scarecrow-decorating contests, a pancake feed and more!
Noon & 2:15 p.m. Tiger Soccer v. Johnson & Wales University (Memorial Stadium, Crete)
2 - 5 p.m. Welcome to the Jungle (Lincoln)  Join us where the wild things are at the Lincoln Children's Zoo!  Meet faculty, staff and students from our adult learner campus in Lincoln.
2-5 p.m. Pumpkin Patch Adventure (Hastings)  The Tri-City Alumni Chapter invites you to the Country Harvest Pumpkin Patch in Glenvil, NE to choose your own adventure as you pick the perfect pumpkin on the prairie! Fly down a giant hillside slide or take a hayrack ride through the prairie. Activities also include a corn maze, cow-train ride, prairie golf course and much more for the whole family. $5/person; Children two and under FREE.
2-4 p.m. Bowling and Broncos (Lucky Strike Lanes, Denver)  The Rocky Mountain Alumni Chapter is celebrating Homecoming in Colorado! Join us in your "spare" time to bowl with the Doane family in Denver. $5/person. 6 p.m. Homecoming Heroes Series: Employment Panel-Business (Perry Campus Center, Crete)  The new College to Career Center will host alumni to share their expertise, advice and career success stories with Doane students.  For more information or to volunteer as a panelist, contact assistant director Sarah Franzen Begay '96 (sarah.begay@doane.edu).

8 p.m. PLAYFAIR (Al Papik Field, Crete) PLAYFAIR is a powerful program for students that emphasize campus unity and school spirit. It is more than just an entertainment event - it is a team-building experience that has a long-lasting effect on the members of our campus community. This event is for current Doane students only.

6 p.m. Tiger Trot (Campus, Crete) Run along the pond, skip around the belltower or crawl across camps during the Student Programming Board's Tiger Trot!  Alumni are welcome to join the community for a positive, ealthy activity while raising awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project.

7:30 p.m. Theatre Production of "One Man, Two Guvnors" (Whitcomb Lee Conservatory, Crete) Welcome to swingin' England!  Our protagonist, the disarming and doltish Francis Henshall, finds himself trapped by farce into working for two bosses - who happen to be connected to each other in wildly improbablye ways.  It's a brilliantly wonderful mash-up of splendid comedy, British pantomime and music-hall revues.  Reserve your tickets at http://www.doane.edu/theatre-ticket-reservations.

Friday, October 9      
11 a.m. Golf Tournament (Crete, College Heights Country Club)
Sponsored by the Capital Alumni Chapter 11AM Registration; 12PM Shotgun start; $50/person. Take one for the team! Join the Capital Alumni Chapter and reunion classesfor a 4-person scramble. Part of the fee will go towards student scholarships. Open to all alumni and friends.     

5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Capital Chapter Friday Afternoon Club / Reunion Class Gatherings (Momo Pizzeria and Ristorante, Lincoln) The Capital Alumni Chapter invites alumni from all campuses to join them in downtown Lincoln for a relaxing FAC. 11 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Tiger Tailgate (Crete Campus, Communications Building Parking Lot) Food trucks…it’s not just for TV competitions anymore. Join us for lunch from local vendors and football parents. Bring the kids to test out the carnival games at the FREE Tiger Cub Club on the north side of the football field. Fans are also encouraged to tailgate in the designated Communications Building parking lot. Get there early – spots go fast!

11:30 a.m. Inter Greek Alumni Association Forum (Crete Campus, Communications 02) Stop by room CM067 (formerly CM02) in the Communications Building to meet new Greek System Director Kayla Decker and hear more about Doane's Greek Life revitalization plans. 

12 p.m. Campus Tours (Crete Campus, Perry Campus Center) Get a brief college update and a guided tour of campus to visit some of your favorite Doane locations. RSVP online for a walking or riding tour and meet at 11:45 a.m. by the Perry Campus Center information desk.

1 p.m. Tiger Football vs. Dakota Wesleyan University (Memorial Stadium, Crete) Cheer on Doane as they battle a conference foe on the gridiron.

4 - 6 p.m. 5th Quarter Party / Class Reunions (Crete Campus, Fuhrer Fieldhouse) Doane College is proud to honor the Alumni Reunion Classes of 1945, 1955, 1965, 1975, 1985, 1995, and 2005. Time to celebrate with music, snacks and a cash bar! All fans, friends and family are invited to join us after the game for fun in the newly renovated Fuhrer Fieldhouse. Hear from President Carter, catch up with friends, and win prizes.
