- Tim Moulton
I sing the praises of Doane to students interested in continuing their education at our fine institution. The Doane community—faculty, staff, students and alumni—is what motivates me as an admissions counselor. I want to keep our great tradition going!
Where are you from?
Scenic Alma, Nebraska.
What’s the hashtag that would describe you the best?
What hobby do you wish you had more time for?
Singing with my barbershop quartet, Paternal Instinct.
What did you study in college and why?
Business management. When I was in high school, I thought I wanted to have my own sports bar. Turns out, college admissions is my calling!
What celebrity would play you in the movie about you?
I’d like to think that no one can replicate my “Tim-ness,” but maybe Jim Carrey. Without hair.
What’s the best thing about Doane?
The people at Doane, hands down. They’re amazing!
If you weren’t an admissions counselor, what would you be?
A high school choral director.
What’s the best concert you’ve ever seen?
Garth Brooks when he came to Lincoln.
What are the top three items on your bucket list?
Watch my children grow up and have families of their own, compete at the International Barbershop Competition with both of my groups (The Lincoln Continentals and Paternal Instinct) and travel to Ireland.
