Due to the power outage in the Communications Building, many classes and events scheduled for this week have been moved. For continued updates and location changes please go to www.doane.edu/communications-update.
We are here to help you navigate through the admission process. That help may have different job titles in different programs, but you’ll find the same strong commitment
to all of our students!
Based on where you live, you’ll be assigned an Admission Counselor. Your Admission Counselor has a great working knowledge of programs that relate to your areas of interest; student and campus life; financial aid; and the application process. He/she can also connect you with faculty, coaches or other staff to help you get more detailed information. In short, your Admission Counselor is there to help you as you decide if Doane is the right place for you. Once you enroll, you’ll work with Doane’s first-year success advisor.
From the first time you call to ask a question about a program, you are talking to your advisor. This same person will be there for you from the time you ask questions about attending to your graduation day. Your advisor will get to know you and your goals, answer questions, help you make decisions on your major, your class schedule and how it all fits in your life.
