Abnormal Psychology

This course examines abnormal behavior andypsychopathology, including diagnoses, causes, andytreatments. The role of society and culture inydetermining definitions of abnormal behavior andyapproaches to treatment is also addressed. yStudents successfully completing the course willybe able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge ofythe etiology, prevalence rates, and treatment ofya variety of major psychological disorders andycritically discuss social and cultural factorsyrelevant to psychopathology.
