The Doane Owl: Doane College is the home of Nebraska's oldest college newspaper, The Doane Owl. The Owl is a weekly paper published by students and distributed to the Doane community. Opportunities include feature writing, world news commentary, sports reporting, advertising, photography, production, and graphic design. Paid positions are available. Students may receive academic credit. Any Doane student is welcome to join.

KDNE Radio: "The Kidney," KDNE, is a 200-watt FCC licensed over-the-air radio station operating in stereo at 91.9 FM serving Doane College and the Crete area to a radius of about 10 miles. The station is student managed and operated, with an electric music format (music for each program is determined by the student air personality). On-air positions include disc jockey, sports play by play, and news reporter/anchor. Off-air activities are also available, including music management, public service, and record maintenance. Students may receive academic and/or activity credit. Station manager is a paid position, appointed for the calendar year. Work-study jobs are also available.

DCTV: Doane College Television (DCTV) is open to all Doane College students. DCTV is dedicated to producing and broadcasting quality programming to the Doane College campus and the Crete community. DCTV involves all students for all production responsibilities and has students hired as staff employees, enrolled in the Television Practicum (CMM293) and through television production classes.

Doane Tiger Yearbook: Positions are available for photographers, darkroom staff, copywriters, and layout staff. Paid positions are available. Students may receive academic credit for work on the yearbook. It is open to any Doane student interested.

Xanadu is the campus literary magazine. Students may contribute prose, poetry, design, editing, and publishing skills. Xanadu also sponsors an annual literary contest with prizes for short story, poetry, essay, and journal entries.
