Donna is a Doane graduate with an M.S. in library science from Long Island University. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and going to the movies.

Jayne Germer MLS, Collection Development Librarian
Jayne is a Doane graduate with a Masters in Library Science from Emporia State University. She is responsible for selecting materials for the library collections as well as teaching information skills to students and managing the library's Web pages.

Janet Jeffries MA-History, Public Services/Archivist
Janet has a Masters Degree in History and has been working at Doane in the Advancement office.

Janis Mitchell, Library Assistant, Acquisitions
Janis manages acquisition and budget expenditures in the library. She also assists with the daily functions of the library. Her previous experiences included budget allocations and general finance.

Holly Baber, Library Assistant, Cataloger
Holly catalogs all materials that become a part of the Perkins Library Collection. She also provides assistance to any patron or co-worker that may need it in the library. She is currently finishing her degree at Doane. Holly enjoys reading and staying busy with family.

Judy Bespalec, Library Assistant, Periodicals
Judy has seen Doane change since she started in 2000. She works with the periodicals and students with their needs. Judy grew up in Crete, coming to the campus for different occasions and events before working at Doane. She is a mother, wife, and mother-in-law of Doane graduates.

Shelley Smith, Library Assistant, Reserves and Government Documents
Shelley manages the reserve materials for the professors and makes sure they are entered into the system. She also processes the materials that the library receives from the government and files them. Shelley enjoys traveling with her family, crafting, and volunteering for the American Legion Auxiliary and other organizations.
