Course Requirements
Courses required for the elementary education major include:
- Elementary majors are required to have a second major or endorsement chosen from early childhood, special education, middle grades, and English as a second language. Some secondary endorsement areas may also be used as a second area to elementary education.
- Twelve courses in Education level 200-400
- Complete cognates in: Art, Biology, Speech Communication, Physical Science or Geology, Information Science and Technology, History, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Political Science
