visit the Doane campus. This is Tiger territory, and the Doane Tigers—who participate in
18 different intercollegiate athletic programs in
NAIA’s ultra-competitive
Great Plains Athletic Conference—are a great example of how students challenge themselves in different ways at Doane. These men and women are not just championship-winning athletes—they are
student-athletes, as comfortable breaking through intellectual boundaries as they are breaking athletic records. In fact, over the years Doane College has fielded more than 600 All-American student-athletes. Don’t be surprised to find someone impressing you in class one day and making a winning play the next…or to discover that you have become that person. About half of Doane students participate in one athletic program or another. But you don’t have to be an athlete or a wildly cheering Tiger fan to embrace the spirit of the Orange and Black. Doane also offers a wide variety of
intramural programs, and on your visit you’ll find many students engaged in friendly games of volleyball, basketball, softball, ping-pong, pool, and more.
