Hansen Leadership Academy
Designed for selected high school students who are interested in learning about and exploring leadership skills and styles. Doane students serve as staff members and facilitators. The programming and curriculum include concepts of leadership, decision-making, communication and teamwork. Activities include community service tips, workshops, group activities and the Doane College Challenge Course.
Hansen Leadership Program
This comprehensive program helps students recognize and utilize their unique talents and abilities through monthly leadership luncheons, “leadershops,” working with mentors, self-assessment exercises, and the development of a personal leadership portfolio
Hansen Leadership Program Student Steering Committee
Offers members of the Hansen Leadership Program a chance to shape the program’s goals and practices, as well as to plan and stage Hansen events during the academic year.
Health and Medical Occupational Club
The club's goal is to help prepare its members for future careers in medical-related careers such as psychology, chemistry, pharmacology, biology or physical therapy. Members of this organization are active in community service activities, teaching professional skills, helping with catastrophes both mentally and physically, and other medical-related activities. Meetings are open to everyone.
Human Resource Club
Acquaints students with the field of human resource management and labor relations, and provides learning opportunities through interaction with human resource practitioners.
