Campus Crusade for Christ
Exists to provide regular opportunities to study and discuss the Bible, worship, and pray in a group setting. The organization also provides opportunities for fellowship, encouragement, spiritual encouragement, and development among members.
Catholic Newman Club
Provides a Christ-centered atmosphere in which students can grow in their faith and develop a personal relationship with Jesus. Any student is welcome to be a part of the group. Members should have the willingness to learn more about Jesus Christ and His church and develop a personal relationship with Our Savior.
Cardinal Key - Honorary Society
A national honor society acts as a service organization to the college and community and recognizes the achievements of its members. Some of the society’s projects include a Big-Sis/Little-Sis program, an annual fund-raiser to purchase books for the library, and fund-raisers for various charitable organizations. Qualification for membership is determined at the end of the sophomore year based on a cumulative grade point average, participation in various activities, and special honors.
Chess Club
A group of students interested in developing critical thinking skills through the pastime of chess playing.
Chi Delta - Sorority
Scholarship, service, and honesty are the founding principles of Chi Delta sorority. Bonds of sisterhood are formed through service projects and social activities. The group’s colors are onyx, jade, and pearl. Chi Delta’s flower is the white rose and the mascot is the lion.
Circle K
As a sponsored program of Kiwanis International, Circle K International shares the focus of serving the children of the world. This is open to all students who have the desire of service, leadership and fellowship to help and focus on the future: children.
Class Officers
These are leadership positions that each class elects upon entering Doane in their freshman year. Officer positions are president, vice president, secretary/treasurer, historian and sergeant at arms. These positions are held for the length of the student’s term at Doane and after graduation. Officers are elected once and are the voice of their class to Student Congress.
Club Internationale
Exists to promote and strengthen positive interactions between different ethnic and cultural groups on campus. Activities include foreign film nights, songfests, informal discussion groups, international dinner nights, International Day, and various other cross-cultural activities. Open communication and individual expression are encouraged. Club I is open to all Doane undergraduate and Midwest Institute students.
Collegiate Chorale
Collegiate Chorale is a non-auditioned, well-balanced choir of 50-60 voices. It performs three or four times on campus during the academic year, and off-campus as well. Collegiate joined the Doane Choir for a Lincoln Symphony collaboration in December of 2005, and participated in a choral festival with Weston Noble in the fall of 2006. The group includes students of diverse ages and majors.
Concert Band
The all-college Concert Band is open to all students. Auditions for chair placement take place in the fall. The Concert Band rehearses on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Performances include two scheduled concerts a semester, important college ceremony functions, and the opportunity to play on the Symphonic Wind Ensemble annual tour. Participation in the Concert Band can be used to partially fulfill the "aesthetic perspective" requirement of the Doane Plan.
CORE 91.9 FM (KDNE, Doane College Radio Station)
“The Kidney,” KDNE, is a 200-watt FCC licensed over-the-air radio station operating in stereo at 91.9 FM serving Doane College and the Crete area to a radius of about 10 miles. The station is student managed and operated, with an electric music format (music for each program is determined by the student air personality). On-air positions include disc jockey, sports play by play, and news reporter/anchor. Off-air activities are also available, including music management, public service, and record maintenance. Students may receive academic and/or activity credit. Station manager is a paid position, appointed for the calendar year. Work-study jobs are also available.

Council of Presidents
Serves as an advisory group of student leaders to the Dean of Student Leadership. This group meets at least once or twice a semester to assist in ongoing and open communication.
