Jazz Ensemble
The Doane Jazz Band is an ensemble that performes a variety of Jazz, rock, Latin,swing, and fusion styles. The Jazz Band is open to all students by audition or permission. Rehearsals are on Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Jazz Band generally performs twice a semester. The possibility of travel opportunities is dependent on the performance requests the ensemble accepts. Additionally, the Jazz Band often accompanies the Symphonic Wind Ensemble on its annual tour.
Jazz Unlimited
This contemporary ensemble of 16 singer/dancers and six instrumentalists performs pop, rock, and jazz tunes. Many performances are scheduled each year. Most numbers are choreographed. Auditions are open to any individual with singing/dancing skills and are held each fall. All selected members must also hold membership in Doane Choir or Collegiate Chorale.

Lambda Pi Eta - Honorary Society
A national honor society for communication studies. To be eligible for membership, students must have completed 60 semester hours and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and an overall GPA of 3.25 in at least 12 semester hours of communication studies courses.
The Doane Line (Doane College Online Newspaper)
The Doane Line is a weekly online paper published by students for the Doane community. Opportunities include feature writing, world news commentary, sports reporting, advertising, photography, production, and graphic design. Paid positions are available. Students may receive academic credit.

Martin Investment Club
Was founded in 1986 with a $40,000 endowment donated by Dr. Alfred & Mary Martin. Members of this organization research companies, prepare presentations, and invest real money in the stock market. Members meet once a week and the club is open to all majors and interested students.
Music Educators National Conference (MENC)
Serves to augment classroom work in the field of music education to promote special projects of the Nebraska Music Educators Association and the National Conference, and to expand the knowledge and horizons of future music educators. M.E.N.C. is open to students interested in music education.
