Greg Jarosik took over as head coach of the Tiger men's soccer program in December 2006.
A native of Omaha, Neb., Jarosik graduated from Doane in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in education. Jarosik was a member of Doane's soccer team from 1997 to 2000.
Jarosik has been coaching soccer since he was an undergraduate student, starting as an assistant for the Tigers in 2000. After graduating from Doane, he took an assistant coaching job at Gretna High School where the team won the state championship in 2002. He was named head coach after the 2002 season. During his tenure at Gretna, the Dragons compiled a 22-11 record. In 2004, Jarosik took the reigns at Papillion-LaVista South High School. In four years his teams have gone a combined 26-32. Jarosik has also coached for the Arsenal Soccer Club, one of the most successful club organizations in Nebraska. His 2006 team, Arsenal Veleno, won the state championship and regional championship.
"It is my goal to make Doane a benchmark program in the GPAC Conference. We will look to bring in quality student-athletes who can help propel our program into an elite program at this level both athletically as well as academically."
Assistant Coach Dan Dunaway has been an assistant coach since the 2006 season. Dunaway was a member of the men's soccer team from 1999-2002. He is third on the all-time career charts in assists with 21 assists. He posted 10 assists in 2000, a single season Tiger record.
