Head Coach Brad Jenny took over the cross country program in 2002 after serving as an assistant the previous three years. The Tiger program has continued to excel as seven athletes have earned All-American status, 14 have been NAIA Scholar-Athletes and the 2002 women's squad was named to the NAIA All-American Scholar-Athlete Team, placing 5th overall with a 3.52 grade point average. Brad, a 1994 Doane graduate, serves as the assistant athletic trainer and is married to Jennifer (Einspahr) Jenny (1999 Doane graduate). Brad also serves as the long distances coach for the track and field team.
Assistant Coach Dave Ziola came to Doane College in 2002 after spending time at Midland Lutheran College. Ziola also serves as the long jump and triple jumps coach where he has coached 24 All-Americans and six individual National Champions. Dave and his wife Sandy have a son, Ryan, who is currently a student at Doane and a member of the Track & Field team. Before coming to Doane, Ziola was a teacher in the Arlington Public School system for 24 years. Ziola earned his bachelor's degree from Hastings College.
