The Minutes of the March 8th, 2006 Meeting:

1. Soup Kitchen – Miranda is in contact with the people and they will tell her a date soon

2. Region V Dance – Friday April 28, 2006 (set-up at 5 pm, dance at 6-6:30)

~ Erica will call Vicky to reserve the building

~ Miranda is checking with Farmland on the food

~ Janelle Weber is talking with Hunke (in PW) to get 60-70 little ice cream cups from Dairy Queen

~ Seth is talking with the cafeteria to order chips, fruit salad, bread, mustard, mayonnaise, lettuce, cheese, tomato, pickles, onion, and 3 ice cream toppings in little containers (Abi has a specific detailed list to follow) – also ask how many names we need to cover food costs

~ Erica is contacting Region V to tell them the date and theme

~ Griffin is checking on the DJ

~ Collecting names to pay for the food from the caf – sit outside cafeteria week of dance and go around to dorms (shift sign-up to come later)

~ Decoration ideas – horseshoes (Neil), figurines for table toppers – give away in drawing at dance (Erica), nametags – sheriff badges hanging with twine around neck, trace transparencies for walls (Erica)

~Everyone can dress up in costume!

3. Youth Night – April 30 (K-5 students)

~ Neil talk to elementary school

4. Website – Neil setting up

~ Calendar, photos, directory/member list, projects we do, mission statement, links (to Noah's, National Sertoma, and Crete Sertoma)
