The Doane volleyball team defeated a ranked team for the second straight day as the Tigers (3-0) topped No. 23 Olivet Nazarene University (1-3) in three games. The final scores were 25-16, 25-19, 25-12. The offense was led behind the service line. Jessy Livers (Jr.; Lincoln, Neb.) and Ashley Sluka (Sr.; Milligan, Neb.) recorded five ace serves each.
At the net, Terra Andreasen (Fr.; Bellevue, Neb.) posted a team-high 12 kills. Kellie Peterson (Fr.; Ord, Neb.) added nine kills while Livers posted eight kills in the match.
Sluka led the way in assists with 22 for the match. Heather Davison (So.; Lincoln, Neb.) added 10 set assists.
Defensively, Andreasen posted a team best 14 digs. Davison added 10 digs while Emily Schwisow (Jr.; Beatrice, Neb.) notched nine.
Peterson posted two blocks to lead Doane.
