The Tiger track & field squads participated in their final tune-up prior to the national meet by attending the Concordia Twilight on Friday evening.
Leading the way for Doane was a record-breaking performance from Meagan Bauer. In her final regular season meet, Bauer broke her own pole vault record by vaulting 13-01.50. She takes the top mark into her final NAIA championship performance on May 22.
Regan Carlstrom set a new stadium record in the 400m dash with a time of 56.12. Abby Schlueter hit a provisional mark in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.22.
Janelle Weber won the triple jump with an automatic qualifying mark in her final leap, posting a mark of 37-09.
Other event winners on the women's side were Deejay Silcott (100m), Viviana Arreola (5,000m), Gretchen Clark (high jump) and Mindy Nguyen (javelin).
Jared Schuurmans hit two automatic throws and almost topped the school record he set at the GPAC meet a week ago. In the discus, Schuurmans posted a mark of 172-09, an inch off his record throw. He also hit an automatic mark in the shot put with a throw of 53-02.50.
The Tiger men had four other event winners, they were: Nathan Greene (triple jump), Maurice Smith (long jump), Greg Torres (400m) and D'Artagnan Dai'Re (100m).
