Hampshire Honor Society Press Release

Three Tiger senior football players were honored recently for their academic and athletic achievements this past season by the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame. 

Bryan Dutcher (Greeley), Brian Maronde (Benedict) and Luke Burson (Gretna) were named to this year's Hampshire Honor Society, which consisted of football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a 3.2 GPA or better.  They were also required to be starters or key reserves to the program they played for.

There were 441 players named to this year's honor society, 13 schools from the NAIA had at least one player named to the list.  Doane's three topped the list for NAIA schools.  The University of Dayton led the way with 13 players named to the honor society.
