The Tigers had no problem dealing with an extra day off as they put together a solid performance at the Concordia Invitational.  The men and women combined for 10 automatic qualifying marks and nine provisional marks.

In women's action, Regan Carlstrom notched a pair of victories in the sprints.  She hit an automatic mark in the 100m dash with a time of 12.21 and a provisional mark in the 200m with a time of 25.40.  Kym Bennett hit an automatic mark in the 10K with a first place finish and time of 38:26.33.  Erin Fogarty took second in the 100m hurdles with a provisional time of 15.16.  The 4x100 relay team of Carlstrom, DeeJay Silcott, Jallenteria Holmes and Amanda Kermoade hit a provisional time of 49.21.

Meagan Bauer went 11-11.00 in the pole vault to win the event by six inches.  Ale Cano and Leah Peterson hit provisional marks with vaults of 11-05.75.  Abby Schlueter took first in the triple jump with a mark 39-01.50, an automatic mark.  Tawny Fye hit a automatic mark of 142-02 in the discus.

Paulvince Obuon claimed victory in the 100m dash with a finals time of 10.79, which is a provisional mark.  He did hit an automatic mark in the prelims with a time of 10.68.  Lance Foster was victorious in the 400m dash with an automatic time of 48.00. 

Sufian Kimo was second in the 5K with a time of 15:06.07, a new school record for the Tigers.

The Tiger relay teams also brought home victories.  The 4x100m team of Jess Wimmer, D'Artagnan Dai'Re, Maurice Smith and Kedrick Kelley won in a time of 42.98.  The 4x400m team of Cody Ingold, Travis Hatcher, Wimmer and Foster won with a time of 3:20.42.

In the high jump, Scott Neuhalfen came away with a victory as he jumped 6-08, a provisional mark.  Jared Schuurmans hit two automatic marks in the shot put and discus.  He took third in the shot put with a toss of 51-02.50 and first in the discus with a throw of 166-00.  Adam Burmood hit a personal best mark in the javelin with a throw of 207-00, an automatic mark that is currently the second best in the NAIA and tops in the GPAC.  Trenton Volkmer won the long jump with a mark of 21-10.75.

Up Next:
The Tigers will host the Doane Relays on April 18-19.  The Tiger Sports Network will cover some of the action on Saturday afternoon.
