Doane was handed a tough loss by the Bulldogs of Concordia University on Wednesday. Concordia won Doane's GPAC opener, 9-0.
The closest match was in No. 2 singles as Erinn Beckman was able to hold off Jenna Monter, 6-3, 6-4. Doane's next conference match is at home on Friday against Hastings College.
