The Tigers split six matches in singles action and took two of three in doubles play to defeat Midland Lutheran College 5-4. The win was the first of the season for Doane.
Doane dropped their singles matches at Nos. 1, 2 & 3 while winning the 4 through 6 matches. Sam Acker, Nolan DeWispelare and Tanner Vitko were victorious in straight sets.
In doubles action, Acker teamed with Josh Siske to win 8-6. DeWispelare teamed with Jake Zlatkovsky for an 8-2.
