Doane was able to jump out early on Hastings College but the Broncos battled back to defeat the Tigers 3-2 in the First Round of the GPAC Tournament.  The scores were 30-20, 30-25, 13-30, 26-30, 6-15.  Doane only hit .071 for the match, including negative hitting percentages in games three and five.

Chelsee Marvin was the only Tigers to reach double-digit kills with 16.  Jessy Livers finished with nine kills.  Kari Hochstein led the team with eight total blocks while fellow senior Caitlin Schaffert added seven.

Emily Schwisow collected 29 digs and was 36-for-36 in serve receptions.  Ashley Sluka added 16 digs and Kaylee Lubken contributed 15.  Lubken and Sluka led the team with three ace serves each.  Heather Davison posted 20 assists with Sluka adding 17.

The Tigers completed their season with a 16-13 record overall and 10-6 mark in the GPAC.  Three seniors, Hochstein, Lubken and Schaffert, will graduate after four successful volleyball and academic years at Doane.
