Gaylord Hall

Gaylord Hall was originally constructed as a women's dormitory. It now houses the Zenon C.R. Leadership Room, the Midwest Institute for International Studies, classrooms, and the college's newspaper, radio, and television production facilities.Gaylord Hall was built in 1884 as the first female hall. Today, a portion of it houses the Midwest Institute for International Studies and the Doane newspaper, radio and television production studios. The building is also used for faculty offices and classrooms. The Zenon C. R. Hansen Leadership Room has found its home in Gaylord as well. Zenon Hansen was the fifth president of the Mack Truck Company. Many personal effects and Mack Truck memorabilia are permanently displayed in the room.
