COURSE RESERVESare materials set aside by faculty to be used by students enrolled in a course. They are typically located behind the circulation desk in the library and have special use restrictions. You will need to know the call number of the material so staff can locate it on the reserve shelves for you. Reserve materials can be found using the
library catalog (will open in another window so you can follow these instructions):
- Click on Reserve Desk in the gray bar near the top of the online catalog screen.
- Enter your professor's last name. Make sure you know how it's spelled!
- Select your course from the list that appears for that professor, then locate the item you need. Note the call number listed at the top of the item's record to tell the staff person at the desk. That's it!
Note: All reserve items MUST be checked out to be used.
