YOU MUST HAVE WORK STUDY ELIGIBLITY TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION General Description: CCLC Cardinal Zone is a before and after school program for 5th-8th grade students from Monday through Friday. CCLC Cardinal Zone staff are required to plan a club that meets at least once a week (Monday-Thursday) from 4:15-5:00 and 5:00-5:45. Staff will design their clubs based on their interests and the interests of the students and will run for 6 weeks. Fridays are reserved for recreation and elementary tutoring which the staff members would be in charge of small group of students. There may be a possibility to work during the Homework Zone time from 3:00-4:15 tutoring students and helping them with homework. We also have a before school program that runs from 7-8:15 where staff help with homework and engage and interact with the students.
Duties Performed: Interact, engage, support, supervise and plan activities for students
Special Skills or Knowledge Required: Interest in helping students both academically and socially.
Previous Training Required: Have to have experience working with kids. Background check required.
Preference: None
Position Available: M-F 7-8:30 am, 4-6 pm, or 3-6 pm
Total Weekly Hours Required: Varies, Fridays will be recreation day, Activities done in a club format will be either M & W or Tu & Th. Homework help every day.
