General Description: Doane students will help Crete Elementary students with their reading skills. Students must contact the Financial Aid Office for an application and to determine if they are eligible. Students must qualify for Federal Work Study.
Times needed: 10:15-11:25 daily (or as many days as possible)
1:25- 2:35 daily (or as many days as possible)
Duties Performed: Students will act as mentors and be responsible adults when dealing with Crete Elementary students. You will help students with reading and other skills.You will work with individuals or small groups. You may work during the day or after school.
Special Skills or Knowledge Required: Communication is the key here! The students need to be dependable and comfortable working with elementary school children. Spanish speaking students are greatly needed.

Position Available: Fall, Interterm, & Spring Semester
Total Weekly Hours Required: Must be available throughout the week
