Information Science and Technology

The computer science and information systems fields are vibrant, exciting, challenging, and growing. We have some of the best-rated jobs in the nation, and five of the top ten highest paying jobs. There are also many stimulating graduate school opportunities in computer science and information systems.

Computer science and information systems are solid fields of study in and of themselves. They also combine with just about everything else. Recent Doane students have combined IST majors or minors with studies in mathematics, physics, business, art, graphic design, music, communications, and even psychology.

After graduation, our students have gone on to opportunities at Arthur Anderson Consulting, Gallup, IBM, ITI, Lucent Technologies, Microsoft, Mutual of Omaha, the University of Nebraska, and Washington University in St. Louis, to name just a few.
