A student admitted to Doane may transfer academic credits from other accredited institutions. Transfer credit is evaluated by the Doane Registrar.
1. Transfer credits are not accepted for courses with the grade of D-, D, D+ or the equivalent.
2. A maximum of 99 semester credits at a four-year institution is accepted.
3. If an associates degree, diploma or professional certificate has been obtained, a maximum of 66 credits are accepted in a transfer.
4. Courses are evaluated individually. A maximum of six semester credits are accepted from courses not normally offered at a four-year accredited college or university
5. Credits transferred from another institution are entered as P for passed credits.
6. Doane awards credits in semester hours.
