Service-learning

Service-learning provides students a rich opportunity to serve and help fulfill a community need, while at the same time, learn about their community and themselves.  At Doane, service-learning opportunities are available as a component of many courses, and also through student life programs.

Grant funding is currently available to Doane faculty who are interested in incorporating a service-learning opportunity in a course.  Contact Dr. Linda Kalbach, Director of Service-Learning and co-Director of CETL for additional information.

CETL's mission is to serve as a catalyst for service-learning, aesthetic, and liberal education at Doane.
